I choose little snippets, so some are NOT exactly one sentence.
The first book of the Behind the Legend series, currently entitled Shimmer Blade -
The elf didn’t answer. His green eyes looked almost glassy, and the corners of his mouth were twitching slightly. “Shiiiiiiiiny,” he finally breathed.
Be Careful What You Wish For (which may change titles and is generally referred to simply as 'Wish') -
“No,” Cassie supplied. “As a possible figment of our imaginations, you DON’T get a say in this.” She sighed, rubbing at the bridge of her nose. “If you’re still real in the morning, then you can have an opinion.”
The Caves of Wisdom (which will probably change titles) -
Renée shrieked and tried again to get away. “NO! NO! GET AWAY! I AM NOT YOUR DOLL!” she yelled, panicking.
Chantal laughed, her voice trilling. “Don’t be silly, Renée,” she said soothingly, brushing the pink powder on Renée’s cheeks with her free hand. “Of course you are.”
The Somewhat Melodramatic Adventures of the Right Honourable Spirit Gang (NaNo two years ago) -
“What, you live at home?” she asked, looking down at him from her vantage point about six feet up. “Aww, that’s so cute. A spirit guide with parents worrying about him! Do you have homework, too?”
Psychic Powerhouse Patrol (NaNo last year) -
“In that case,” Marak shouted over the accompanying fanfare, “we will proceed to the next stage! Ladies and gentlemen, it is now time for the WHEEL OF AVATARS!”
And the sad part is, I have at least two more stories (specifically Berserker and The Beginning of All Knowledge) that don't have any lines written to them yet, so I can't quote them. >_> And of course there are others I have partially written or conceived that I don't have access to. But we'll stop here.
